Dale was born in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. At the age of 10 years he trusted his life to Jesus in a Vacation Bible School conducted by the Southside Baptist Church of Okmulgee. Shortly thereafter, he followed Christ in believer's baptism.
He was reared on a farm southwest of Okmulgee. In May 1961 Dale graduated from Wilson High School, which is located in a rural area between Okmulgee and Henryetta. After graduation, he attended Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Religion with a major in Bible. While a student at O.B.U., he took part in a World Missions Conference at Temple Baptist Church in Shawnee. During the Conference, he surrendered his life to God's calling to the Gospel Ministry. In October 1965, at the age of 22, he accepted his first pastorate, the Wilson Community Baptist Church in the area where he was reared. This church ordained him to the Gospel Ministry in January 1966. Later, he moved to Fort Worth, Texas, where he earned a Master's degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Dale devoted most of his ministry to the pastorate in various churches in Oklahoma. He served three years as Director of the Baptist Student Union at Eastern Oklahoma State College in Wilburton. He was the Administrator and Chaplain at the Baptist Retirement Center in Madill, Oklahoma. He spent three summers in Pioneer Missions in Libby, Montana, where he and his wife helped start the First Baptist Church of that town. He helped with five short-term mission trips to Mexico. He also took part in seven tours to Israel where he received continuing educatiion credits at the Jerusalem Center for Biblical Studies.
He and his wife, Ann, met, while students at Oklahoma Baptist University. They married on May 29, 1965. They have one son, one daughter and five grandchildren, one of whom is in heaven. Their son, his wife and daughter are active members of Lynn Lane Baptist Church in Tulsa. Their daughter and family are active in a church in Chandler, Oklahoma.
Dale has served as Director of Missions for LeFlore Baptist Association, since January 1, 2006.

She desires to be of service to the local churches and pastors. "I'm very grateful for this opportunity to serve in the LeFlore Baptist Associational office. God is showing me everyday new ways to minister to people. This truly is a ministry center! We are fortunate in this area to have such a great facility out of which to work." Thank you LeFlore county Baptists for making this possible with your faithful giving!
